About Ajua Labs
Across Africa, a large share of the population lives in rural areas and does not have access to most essential products or services (energy, clean cooking, banking, insurance…).
The problem doesn’t come from the products or the demand, but from the ability of companies to reach these populations. This requires building networks of hundreds or thousands of field agents. But running those networks is difficult and costly: agents are recruited locally, managed remotely, and operate in the toughest conditions. Execution at scale is always a core challenge.
Ajua Labs builds the AI platform that makes those networks work efficiently and scale, pushing the boundaries of who can be reached by these companies. We want to leverage technology to address the needs of the underserved, and create employment and economic growth where it makes the biggest difference.
We’re a small elite team with live deployments, proven results and growing traction. You’ll work directly with the founders, engage with our partners’ teams and be supported by our engineers.
Your mission is to bridge technology and operations
You’ll deploy our software on real, messy, high-value use cases, and engage with our partners to transform their operations and achieve meaningful impact. There is no playbook for this role — you’ll shape what we build and how we deploy.
What you’ll do
- Discover: Spend time with leadership, ops managers, and field agents. Deeply understand how work is actually done, and the pain points we are solving.
- Prototype: Turn business activities and their rules into bespoke workflows.
- Pilot: Put the solution in the hands of users, analyze, learn, iterate.
- Deploy: Run training, onboarding, and build adoption for thousands of users.
- Feedback: Bring what you learn to our product, and shape our roadmap.
What we value
- 2–5 years in product, consulting, or operations at a company scaling up.
- Ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments.
- Willingness to learn, teach, lead, and desire to work on what matters.
- Ability to travel occasionally to the field — where our users are.
- Fluency in English; French is a plus.
- Experience with building AI agents. Programming or analytics is a plus.
